The North Wales Medical Centre is an independent
Private hospital established as an acute, surgical
and medical hospital since 1978 serving the community
of North Wales. The The North Wales Medical Centre
works in partnership with all major health insurance
providers through mainstream policies as well as
providing specialist contract work for the NHS.
Providing the largest private hospital facility
in North Wales, this beautifully restored period
Grade II listed building has been tastefully and
purposely restored as a fully equipped private hospital.
Set into 12 acres of peaceful and private parkland
overlooking Craig-y-Don, Llandudno Bay and the famous
Great Orme Headland. This tranquil setting will
be of great benefit to those recuperating from their
private treatment.
On entering the reception you will notice the plush
decor and wide carpeted corridors, designed to create
an ambience of calm, as you would expect in a quality
hotel. You will also appreciate the absence of the
antiseptic odour usually associated with many hospitals.
The high standards and comfort of the Hospital are
complemented by our friendly staff - right from
the medical teams to the catering staff - we are
here to make your stay with us a pleasant one!
Personal
The North Wales Medical Centre has 35 private single
occupancy suites, each with their own colour televisions
complete with satellite, teletext and remote control,
Telephone, Nurse-call system and en-suite facilities.
Arrangements can be made for a relative to stay
with a patient, if the need arises! There is also
provision for parents accompanying child patients.
Health care
A comprehensive suite of facilities is provided
on-site at the Hospital ranging from consultations
to ancillary services such as X-ray, with ultrasound,
specialist laboratory services and a multitude of
diagnostic measurement facilities. It is well documented
that after certain procedures, it is beneficial
for the patient to have a certain amount of physiotherapy
to aid recovery. The Hospital engage Professional
Chartered Physiotherapists to ensure a speedy recovery
after an operation or to put right an injury. The
Hospital is able to offer a comprehensive range
of procedures and operations, some of which are

Personal Healthcare
For those patients who do not have medical or health
insurance, the NWMC have an interesting Fixed Price
Option scheme, whereby patients can have access
to a range of services to suit their particular
needs, from specialist consultancy or therapy, to
a simple procedure or even an operation if it is
essential. For your total peace of mind and convenience,
with worry-free treatment, ask about a Fixed Price
Option to suit you.
Fixed Price Option Example
You need an operation. There will be a recommendation
from your GP or specialist consultant outlining
his prognosis. You will be given a quote for the
all the procedures necessary to ensure you have
the best treatment and aftercare. Under The Fixed
Price Option scheme, you will be given the costs
involved in the form of a written quotation, whats
more if you have to stay with us longer than we
anticipated or should you require additional medication,
there will be no added charges. For worry-free healthcare,
