 Oakwood
Care Centre is a 24 bedded single-story purpose-designed
Centre for the elderly Mentally Ill including Alzheimers
sufferers and people with functional dementia. The
Centre is set in a secluded position within the
grounds of the Elms Care Centre on the northern
edge of the quiet Lincolnshire market town of Louth.
The design of the Centre has been planned to meet
the unique needs of our residents. The vaulted ceiling
and expansive glazing in the central dining area
give a feeling of being outdoors, as it allows for
a view of our beautiful landscaped grounds and mature
trees. A secure garden to the rear allows our residents
the freedom to enjoy a walk whenever they wish.
Qualified mental health nurses are on duty at all
times. Resident’s accommodation is private,
with most rooms having ensuite facilities. All are
on ground floor level and numerous activity and
lounge areas provide a variety of recreational choice.
The Oakwood Care Centre provides nursing and residential
care in private rooms many with ensuite facilities
and is set within the grounds of the Oakwood Care
