Morecambe Bay Care Centre is ideally located off
St. Andrews Grove, Broadway, close to the promenade
with its magnificent panoramic views across the
Bay to Cumbria. The home is registered with Morecambe
Bay Health Authority & Contracted with Lancashire
& Cumbria County Council Social Services.
The Centre is unique to North Lancashire in providing
a comfortable, homely environment for three separate
groups of people each with differing care needs
and levels of dependency all in modern purpose designed
ground floor facilities.
The Homes beautiful surroundings lend itself to
a peaceful and tranquil nusing home. Visitors to
the Home are always impressed.
There are four independent homes within the Centre:
Grange House
With 30 Single ensuite bedrooms for frail elderly
residents who require nursing care.
Cartmel House
The only purpose designed nursing home providing
specialist long and short term care for Younger
Physically Disabled people in North Lancashire with
accommodation for 17 people in single ensuite bedrooms
plus a multi-sensory stimulation room.
Torrisholme & Bare Houses
Two self contained nursing homes for elderly dementia
sufferers. Each home comprises of 20 single
bedrooms situated around a central landscaped courtyard.
