 Summerdale
Court Care Centre opened in 1998 as a state of the
art nursing home located in the Canning Town area
of the London Borough of Newham - the heart of the
East End of London. The Centre provides a comfortable,
homely environment for four seperate groups of people,
each with differing care needs and levels of dependency,
all in modern purpose designed facilities.
The Centres prestigious reputation comes from providing
high quality care in primarily private rooms, many
with ensuite facilities, all tastefully decorated
and furnished. Having a large number of lounges,
separate dining rooms and a spacious activities
area, Summerdale meets the needs of residents who
wish to enjoy the company of others or simply wish
to spend time in quiet and restful surroundings.
There are four independent homes within the Centre
Oak Suite
36 single ensuite bedrooms for frail elderly people
requiring nursing care
Ash Suite
15 single ensuite bedrooms for the Elderly Mentally
Ill including Alzheimers sufferers
Beech Suite
21 single ensuite bedrooms for people requiring
Enduring Mental Healthcare
Willow Suite
Consists of 45 single ensuite rooms (contracted
to Newham Community NHS Trust) for people with Continuing
Mental Healthcare needs. Summerdale Court is registered
with East London & City Health Authority and
contracted with Newham and Tower Hamlets Social
Services and Newham Community NHS Trust. To view
